How to Blow a Short Reed Goose Call – The Basics
I have posted several items on how to blow a short reed goose call, but I have found a video online that explains some of the basics quite well. One of the keys to blowing a good short reed goose call is to apply a stead stream of backpressure. The video does a good job demonstrating how to create adequate backpressure from a short reed goose call. The one additional item I would like to add is that I like to anchor my tounge my lower teeth when pushing air through the call. This really helps to create a steady flow of air through the call.
Enjoy the video.
